- Listing information dealers upload: golf cart details, photos, pricing, and inventory data.
- Activity information: listings you view, swipe, or express interest in, and messages exchanged with dealers through our platform.
- Consent records: a timestamped log of when you opted in to SMS messaging, with associated IP address and user agent.
- Technical information: browser type, device, IP address, and basic usage analytics.
How We Use Your Information
- To create and operate your account.
- To send one-time SMS verification codes to confirm your phone number.
- To send dealers SMS notifications when a buyer expresses interest in one of their listings, including the contact information.
- To send a single follow-up SMS reminder to dealers who have not responded to a lead within a set window.
- To deliver in-app messages between buyers and dealers.
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms.
- To comply with legal obligations.
Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in these limited circumstances:
- With dealers you express interest in: when you "swipe right" on a listing, we share your name and phone number with that dealer so they can contact you about the golf cart.
- Service providers who operate our infrastructure (hosting, SMS delivery, payment processing). These providers are contractually limited to using your data only to perform services for us.
- Legal compliance: when required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of GolfCartSwipe, our users, or the public.
SMS opt-in data and mobile phone numbers are never shared with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not sell, rent, or otherwise transfer phone numbers or SMS opt-in records to any third party for marketing, lead generation, or affiliate marketing.
SMS Messaging Program — Consent, Opt-Out, and Help
GolfCartSwipe operates an SMS messaging program for one-time verification codes and transactional lead notifications. Participation is strictly opt-in.
- Opt-in: You must affirmatively check a consent checkbox at signup. The checkbox is unchecked by default and reads: "I agree to receive SMS verification codes and notifications from GolfCartSwipe at the phone number provided. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help." No SMS messages are sent to any number that has not affirmatively opted in.
- Opt-out: Reply STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT to any GolfCartSwipe SMS message at any time. You will receive one confirmation message and then no further messages. Re-subscribe by replying START.
- Help: Reply HELP or INFO to any GolfCartSwipe SMS message for support contact information, or email admin@golfcartswipe.com.
- Message frequency: Verification codes are sent only when requested by the user (typically once per signup or login). Dealer lead notifications are sent only when a buyer expresses interest in one of the dealer's listings, plus at most one follow-up reminder if the dealer does not respond. Frequency varies by user activity.
- Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier for details. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Data Security & Retention
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and access controls. We retain account information for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time by emailing the address below. Consent records and opt-out records are retained for a minimum of four (4) years to comply with telecommunications regulations.

- SMS opt-out: reply STOP to any GolfCartSwipe SMS message. You will receive one confirmation message and no further messages.
- SMS help: reply HELP to any GolfCartSwipe SMS message for support information.
- Account deletion: email us at the address below to request deletion of your account and associated data.
